I had the immense honor of meeting Sally at the Stanford Cancer Center, South Bay a few months ago.  She was in the lobby and I could tell she was having a rough day. I told her how beautiful she looked in her scarf, and she did look beautiful. Stunning. We fast became best buds as we encouraged each other in our own journeys.  We joked that she was my angel and I was her angel…and what an angel she turned out to be for me.  Her last text to me was “I love you too ❤️“. My last text to her was wishing her a happy Mother’s Day not knowing that was the day she had passed.  God works in mysterious ways. I am convinced that God put Sally in my life for many reasons. While I did not know her long, the impact that she has had in my life through our many text messages will stay with me for as long as I live.  I cannot imagine the loss that her family/friends feel at this time. She was truly, truly a lovely lady and I am so incredibly fortunate to have met her.  Godspeed, Sally. I love you too ❤️.

My condolences to your family. I met you Wife/ Mom /Sister/Aunt/ Grandma at St. Francis Cabrini over 50 years ago. We got along instantly & had been friends ever since. She was a kind soul to everyone she met. She never was upset at anyone she always had an open arm to help. I will miss her loving & generous Heart ♥️ till we meet again RIP my Angel Friend😢

There are not words to describe Sally enough. She was the best of the best. She could light up a room. Always had kind things to say or help someone that might be having a bad day. She was most generous with her whole heart  & soul. Always thinking of others. She was the best friend to many. There to listen or to have a shoulder to lean on.

Her family was the most important of all. She & Gordy raised three beautiful children. She adored all her Grandchildren.  She was a wonderful wife, Mother, Grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor and even to perfect strangers and to me the best friend. She will be missed by many. I was blessed having her in  my life. How lucky heaven is to have her now. Sally, I'll never forget you or the many memories that we shared. I love you to the moon & back.

Your fortunate friend,

Bev Blakeman

I have never met anyone as kind and giving as Sally.  While working together at Branham OSH Sally gave of herself with grace and kindness to everyone who needed a verbal or actual hug.  That was my rookie store as a Asst. Manager and she was so generous with her kind words and humor to make anyone's day better.  Help desk phone calls with her over the years always included updates on her family and inquiries on mine and when I went to the store to install equipment it was like a reunion with a sister.   So many years we talked on the phone and re-connected on FB after retirement.   We had a "quick" (over an hour) phone call not too long ago and I will treasure that catch up time.   I send my deepest condolences to all of her family as I know she will be missed terribly.   I love you Sally, RIP.
