How you can help
My name is pradeep, and I am fundraising for my close family friend. I am doing this with a heavy heart, as I cannot put into words the grief of losing my childhood friend, Sai Vinod Angulur.
On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Vinod took his 8-year-old daughter to the pool at their apartment in Scarborough. While swimming with her, he tragically drowned. Despite efforts to save him, he passed away unexpectedly, leaving his loved ones in shock and unimaginable sorrow.
His body is currently at a funeral home in Canada. His wife (Anjani Yendrapati)and young daughter are devastated and wish to take him back to India so his parents, relatives, and friends can see him one last time and perform the final rites. Sadly, the family does not have insurance to cover the repatriation expenses, and they are in urgent need of support to make this possible.
I am reaching out to friends, family, and compassionate people during this most difficult time to help bring Vinod home. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the burden on his grieving family and allow them to say their final goodbyes with dignity.
