Saeng “Ko” Vannivong, departed from this world on January 20th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Born in Thailand on January 10, 1979, Ko lived in Murfreesboro, TN, where he built a life surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Navi Rain Vannivong. Despite circumstances that kept them apart, Ko’s enduring love for Navi remained unwavering, a constant presence in his heart. His mother, Onekeo Vannivong and siblings, Bee (Pie) Phetsada, Noy (Pakaysy) Noum, Ben Vannivong, Bak (Jessica) Supakhan, Mai (Somjit) Piyawong, share in the grief of losing him. Ko also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Lianna, Jasmine, Justin, Navin, Keven, Kaitlin, Ethan, Cooper, Bew, and Boss.
Preceded in death by his father, Khan Vannivong, Ko’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. He was a fiercely loyal friend and brother, always ready to lend a helping hand when needed. Ko’s love for his family and friends was immeasurable, and his generous and kind personality touched the lives of many.
His passion for sports, cultivated since childhood, led him to enjoy friendly competition with his brothers. Together, they were inseparable, stirring up a little mischief on occasion in their youth. Ko’s deep love for all of his family and friends formed the foundation of his life.
Arrangements to celebrate Ko’s life will be made in the upcoming days. As we mourn the loss of our brother, let us remember Ko Vannivong for the love he shared, the joy he brought, and the lasting impact he had on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
