Her Life and Legacy

Sadie devoted her life to her family, brightening the world with her generosity, creativity, and intellect.

In her youth, she stayed close to her family, helping with the family business, and excelling in high diving, tennis, and music. Books and deep thought were her lifelong friends. Often recognized for her humanitarian spirit, Sadie also cherished travel, adventure, and the joy of sharing good food.

She shared her father, George’s, a successful investor, love of the stock market, embracing every rise and fall with curiosity and optimism; there was never a dull moment.

In the kitchen, she combined the Greek culinary traditions she learned from her mother, Harikleia, with modern influences from culinary masters like Julia Child, creating meals that were both heartfelt, unique, and delicious.

Above all, Sadie’s devotion to motherhood was profound: always a warm bed, a warm meal, and unwavering love. Her compassion touched everyone around her, offering a sense of safety and a feeling of belonging.

Guided by a strong moral compass, she consistently chose the high road, regardless of personal gain. She inspired everyone she met, always able to find a kind word or thoughtful insight, even in life’s most complex moments.

Although we deeply miss her physical presence, her spirit remains ever-present, offering comfort, wisdom, and love in our daily lives.
