It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sadie Bell Reid, who left this world on August 9, 2024. Born on January 28, 1942, she lived a rich and fulfilling life filled with joy and love.

Sadie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Bridgette Bell, and her grandchild Danetta  Bell and  her great granddaughter Aurora Bell. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and her influence will continue to guide them through this life.

Sadie was greeted in death by her father, Alvin Bell, her mother, Lillie Bell, her brother, Alvin (June) Bell, and her son, Everette Reid. Through their shared memories and love, they remain eternally connected.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Sadie on August 24, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Lambs Funeral Home in Concord NC . In line with Sadie's love for life and people, all are welcomed to join in celebrating her life.

Sadie was known for her love of the Philadelphia Eagles and QVC. She had an active spirit, relishing games of basketball and swimming, and could often be found engrossed in a lively game of Bingo. Her dynamic personality and liveliness will be greatly missed.

Sadie's passing leaves a void in many hearts. However, her vivacious spirit, warm laughter, and unwavering love have touched lives in ways that will continue to live on. As we navigate this time of sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that Sadie’s life story will forever be imprinted in our hearts.
