NAPA Training
One of the many times we were able to work with Ryan was on the NAPA Training program. He always kept his he conversations fun and lighthearted. He had time for Evans was just so laid back and enjoyed his time talking with the mechanics.

Ryan had so many stories to tell (most of them funny) and he was always so excited to tell them. ย They were never scripted and usually prompted by a random picture or thought of a particular person, which would then lead into ย a 15-minute story. ย  He was a master story teller and always such an enjoyable person to be around (and not just because he brought the beerโ€ฆwhich he often did). ย Iโ€™m going to miss my friend and only hope I can remember half of the stories he has shared over the years.ย

RIP RPP

We are so sorry for your loss, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers

The best years of my racing career, and my life for that matter, were spent working for Ryan!ย  Tons of stories, but one thing happened this week that I thought was especially appropriate to share here.ย  In 2016, I was able to get garage passes at Road America for several race fans that I worked with. I had Ryan take us through one of the JRM transporters to show them what they're like inside, etc. Fast forward to this week, and one of those people sent me a message at work saying she was so sorry to hear of Ryan's passing, going on to say how great it was to have that transporter tour but especially how funny Ryan was! That couldn't have been more than 10 minutes of time nearly 8 years ago and he left that lasting impression.ย  I told her that was 100% who Ryan was and why it was such an overall blast working for him whether it be at the shop, the track, or just on the road in general. I will also say this about my time being on the road working for Ryan...when our guys on Ryan's team were out eating dinner somewhere, for example, and Ryan happened to also come in, I never had to pay for anything. He always picked up our bill if he was also there. I loved working for him and that bunch he assembled at MB2! I count myself lucky to have been there with all of them!
