Ryan William Ogden from Akron, Ohio, has died on July 9th, 2024. He was 34 years old.

Born April 12, 1990 as the first of three children, Ryan spent his early childhood growing up in Clearwater, Fl. His love for football began in Florida as he declared himself a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Ryan grew up playing and devoting himself to the sport of football and became well known amongst his competitors for his talent and stature. Those who knew Ryan would probably say that the first thing that comes to mind is his size. Ryan had dreams to go on to play college and eventual NFL football, but unfortunately Ryan’s addiction took him from this path.

Ryan struggled with the disease of addiction and unfortunately succumbed to it. We, his family and loved ones, encourage anyone struggling with this illness to please seek help and resources. In lieu of flowers or memorial gifts we ask that you make a donation to the shatterproof charity (Shatterproof.org) in Ryan’s honor.

Ryan will be remembered for his larger than life size, love and athleticism for football, and the lasting impressions he has left on the lives of those he touched.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Karen, siblings Kyle and Katy, and daughters Olivia and Lily.
