Background
On the morning of Sunday October 30th, 2022, the unthinkable happened: 17 year old Ryan Nowlan was killed in a single car accident returning home.
The Nowlan family is gutted by this loss, their friends and family want to provide a place to share memories of Ryan, post details of the obituary/celebration of life once available, and raise funds to help with the funeral expenses.
No parent should outlive their child. Some things cannot be made right again. We are heartbroken heaven gained an angel too soon. 🕊
We love you Josh, Heather and Eric. You are not alone, we are here to comfort you through the darkest of times.
From Josh:
This is hardest post I’ve ever had to write. But I believe it is important for my family and friends to know what happened yesterday.
My son Ryan was in a horrible car accident yesterday and he unfortunately didn’t make it.
I always thought that my tragedy in the movie theater was going to be the worst thing ever I had to experience. But this is much worse. The loss of my son is more painful than anything I could put into words.
He was an amazing young man that was devoted to his friends. He loved his family so much and liked to call me Pops. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh and helped others that needed it. He had a great future ahead of him.
I’d like you all to hug and kiss your family and children.
As Heather, Eric and myself mourn the loss of Ryan, I won’t be on social media for a bit so I can focus on our recovery. But I want you all to know that I love you all and I have an amazing support group that helped me through the shooting. They helped me then, as I know they will help me now.
