Ryan's obituary
Ryan Randell Burd (40) of Butler, PA passed away peacefully on September 14, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh after suffering a massive stroke on September 3, 2022.
Ryan Randell Burd was born on November, 23, 1981 to Randell William Burd and Carla Michelle. He attended Elementary, Middle and High School in the Butler Area School System and graduated in the class of 2000. He played on the Butler High School Football Team and attended the Vocational Technical School for Auto-Body. Upon graduation, Ryan continued his work and taught at the Auto-Body Vocational Technical School. Later, Ryan went to work for Judson Auto Body. He earned his Master Level Certification and worked for Cammisa’s Auto Body. He won the PPG scholarship for his outstanding work in paint and design.
On July 19, 2002, Ryan married his high school sweetheart, Theresa and began his family with the birth of his children, Emma (2002) and later welcomed Rory in (2008) and Alyssa in (2009).
Ryan had many special gifts,but most importantly he had a heart of gold and a smile that touched Heaven. He had a great sense of humor and was there for anyone in need. Anyone who knew him loved him.
Ryan loved music, playing guitar, and singing, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and family. He is survived by his 5 siblings, Aaron, Lisa, Nicole, Christina, and Angela, his parents and their spouses, Randell and Maura Burd and Carla and Richard Gagnon, his girlfriend, Megan, his great-grandmother, Monalene Werner, his many nieces and nephews, and the three great loves of his his life, his children, Emma, Rory, and Alyssa.
A memorial service to remember Ryan’s brief, but beautiful life at Spencer Geibel Funeral Home in Butler, PA will be on Friday, September 16th at 7pm. The visitation will be from 5-7pm immediately prior.
