I worked with Ruthie when she worked at New Hanover Memorial Hospital (back in the day) I would call her Ruthie instead of Ruth. She and Shirley Grainger would always take their lunch and breaks together, she was an amazing friend. When my first child was born, she and Shirley wanted me to name the baby Shirley Ruth. Her love for Kevin and her brothers was unmeasurable. Ruthie, my friend, may you rest in Heaven as Kevin mentioned Heaven must have needed another ANGEL!
I loved working with Ruth at NHRMC. She was a very kind and knowledgeable person. She would help figure out the issue and how to prevent it from happening again. She will definitely be missed. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of her family. You are in my prayers 💗
I met Ruth 24 years ago when I started working in IT at NHRMC. She was in Patient Financial Services at the time, and I was assigned to supporting that group on their IT projects. She taught me so much. Over the years we became friends and I am so grateful to her for not only her friendship but her mentorship. We had our ups and down through the years but she was always so kind and just fun to be around.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Kevin. She loved you so much!
I worked with Ruth for many years and she was a wonderful co-worker and a great friend as well. She was always quick to help with both a smile and her extensive application knowledge. My deepest condolences to Kevin. She truly was a remarkable person and will never be forgotten. 💖🙏🏻
My wife was the bravest human being I’ve ever known . Her courage in the face of certain death was incredible! Unbelievable strength and character. We should all hope to be half as strong and fearless. Sweetheart I know you are in heaven and finally at peace . Its obvious heaven needed another angel ! I will love you for all eternity!!!….. your loving husband forever Kevin
