Ruth's obituary

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Ruth Jean Taylor, 50 years old, passed away on June 10, 2019 at 12:30 pm. Ruth was crossing the street close to her home when she was fatally struck by a car. She was also known by her maiden name, Ruth Boswell and married name, Ruth Ostheller.

Born on August 21st, 1968 Ruth lived a life rich with experience. Originally from Alpine, UT, she served in the Air Force in Utah, Alaska and Denmark. She served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Leeds, England. She lived in Utah, Wisconsin, and finally settled with her family in Tacoma, Washington. She worked many professions, but was an author by passion throughout every position. In recent years, Ruth became the matriarch of her extended family. She extended her love to everyone she touched.

She is survived by her brothers: David R. Boswell, Joshua T. Boswell, Jacob D. Boswell, and Adam D. Boswell, as well as her children: Sarah Ostheller, Rachel Ostheller, Joseph Ostheller and Jacob Ostheller. She was predeceased in death by her mother, Jeanine Kristine Gwilliam Boswell and her brother Benjamin L. Boswell.

Two services: one in Washington and the other in Utah. WA services to be held 10:00 am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Skyline Ward building, 4219 Beckonridge Dr. W, University Place, WA 98466.

Utah memorial services to be held in Sandy, UT, July 5, 2019 (location to be announced), Internment at the Larkin cemetery, Sunset Gardens, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092.
