Ruth A. Smith was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend.
She was the kind of lady that would give you the shirt off her back. She was gentle, sweet spirited and was often found sneaking cash gifts into the hands of those she loved.
You would catch her whispering "put this in your pocket in case you need a little something extra", even if it was her last, her generous nature was undeniable.
Ruth was dedicated to her faith and believed in the power of education. She believed she was blessed to be a blessing.
This scholarship memorial fund will be used to help deserving students fulfill academic aspirations.
