Ruth Smith passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, in San Bernardino, California.

Ruth grew up in San Bernardino, where she built deep roots in the community she called home throughout her life. She was known for her strong work ethic and dedication, spending many years working for Bank of America, where she was a valued and dependable employee.

Ruth will be remembered for her quiet strength, reliability, and the steady presence she brought to both her professional and personal life. She remained connected to San Bernardino, the city that shaped her, until the end of her life.

She passed away in San Bernardino on January 30, 2026. Surrounded by her family. She is survived by 5 daughters Cynthia, Rachel, Patricia, Laura, and Rebecca. 10 grandchildren, Robert, Joseph, Aimee, Amelia, Susan, Michael, Matthew, Stephanie, Melissa, and Tammy. 5 great grandchildren  James, Collin, Mary, Juliette, and Charles
