Background
In memory of Ruth, we are establishing a scholarship fund in her honor at Fort Lewis College to support the Environmental Conservation & Management program within the Environmental & Sustainability Department. This program was close to Ruth’s heart as a proud alumna, and the scholarship will help future generations pursue their dreams of environmental conservation. We deeply appreciate the outpouring of support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to help bring this meaningful initiative to life. Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness.
