Ruth's obituary
Ruth was born to Karl and Karoline Liebig on May 31st, 1935 in Sussen, Germany.
Ruth met her husband, Thomas in Michigan. They married on June 25th, 1971 and went on to have their son, Marcus. They moved the family to Houston, Texas in 1976.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Ruth loved to entertain, dance, and host parties. Throughout her entire life, she loved to share her personal history with those who surrounded her. She was a very proud American and loved her homeland of Germany. Ruth made a habit of putting others needs before her own. She also made a lasting impression with anyone that had the opportunity to meet her. It is impossible to truly sum up someone as dynamic as Ruth in just a few paragraphs.
Ruth joins her parents, Karl and Karoline Liebig, sisters, Sigrid Astfalk, and Renate Zankle, in Heaven.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Thomas Latham, son and daughter in law Marcus and Lucretia Latham, grandchildren, Adrianna and Garrett Latham, honorary granddaughter Kristina Etheridge and great-grandson Slade Mays, sister, Elke Heiler, and brother, Reinhardt Liebig as well as many nieces and nephews, not to mention the many friends who were like family to her.
Ruth will be remembered by her friends and family from her home in Spring, Texas as well as online on Friday, July 10th at 1 pm.
