Ruth's obituary
Born in 1932 and raised in Siler City, NC, she was 1 of 9 children born to Louise Williams and Joseph Dail. She had 4 half brothers and sisters as well, making for a grand total of 13 children. In 1956 she married Thomas (Mickey) Giles Jr. at the Moons Chapel Baptist Church, moved to NJ and had 2 children: Karen Ruth Giles & Thomas Asa Giles. She was a dedicated mother, loving friend, and devout Baptist. If she wasn’t reading her bible or at church, she was looking after the many animals that fell into her care. Ruth is survived by her daughter, who was also her best friend. They spent everyday together having coffee, talking, and watching her favorite TV show, “Little House on the Prairie”.
She is also survived by her son Thomas Giles; her grandchildren Heather Cuervo, Carlyssa Scanlon and Christopher Giles; her 2 great-grandchildren Ryan and Maia Cuervo; and her brothers Herbert Dail and James “Fudd” Dail.
Memorial service will be held at Faith Bible Church in Jackson, NJ on 1/20/18 at 1:00pm. 341 E Veterans Hwy, Jackson, NJ 08527. Donations would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers: https://www.youcaring.com/rut…
