Mrs. Ruth Dennis (Rudy Mae) was born on February 9, 1957, in Putnam County, Eatonton, Georgia. She is the daughter of Alfreda Hurt Dennis and the late Thornton Dennis Sr. She graduated from Baldwin High School, class of 1975. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. She attended Bible Study and Sunday School faithfully. She leaves behind her devoted partner of twenty-four years Mr. Boisy Rance Gray. Ruth was a loving person and devoted herself to many, if you knew Ruth, she touched your soul.
On Friday, March 26, 2021, Ruth departed from this earthly life to enter into rest. She leaves behind three children: Temeshia Dennis and Rodriquez Allen, Phenix City, AL., Tiffany (Antonio) Mason, Milledgeville, Ga., seven grandchildren: Montagus Haddock, Kiara Tyler, LaTwan Haddock, Jekalya Allen, Destiny Willis, Taylor Allen, Tarryn Finney, and one great-grandchild, Zaiden Farley; three sisters: Ella Hooks, Wyalene Holsey of Milledgeville, Ga., Tracey Ellington, Athens, Ga, four brothers: Thornton Dennis Jr., Willie Frank Dennis, Rufus Dennis all of Milledgeville, Ga, Anthony (Raquel) Dennis, Jacksonville, Fla.; six aunts: Bennie Jones, Hazel Dennis, Helen (John) Roberts, Gainelle Banks Jane Lampley, Stockbridge, Ga. Martha Williams, Atlanta, Ga; one uncle: Acie Hurt, a host of nieces and nephews.
