Ruth Ann's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Ann LeVay, a beacon of light and love in the lives of many. Born on October 7th, 1938, Ruth Ann embarked on a journey filled with warmth, kindness, care, and happiness that came to a peaceful close on January 20th, 2024.
Blessed with a generous spirit and a heart full of love, Ruth Ann's personality was best described as a warm sunbeam on a winter day. Her kindness was not merely a trait, but a way of life that she consistently employed in her dealings with others. She believed in the quiet power of caring for those around her, and her incessant happiness radiated and warmed the hearts of all she encountered.
In living her life with such overflowing love and care, Ruth Ann taught us all invaluable lessons. Chief among them was to always be kind, for you never know the battles others are fighting. She also taught us to love life in all its forms, the triumphs and the trials, for she believed that every experience was a stitch in the great tapestry of life.
Ruth Ann's legacy is one of caring for others. She has touched the lives of countless individuals with her selfless acts of kindness and unquestionable love. A true humanitarian at heart, she has left a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.
A lover of competition, Ruth Ann found joy in playing water volleyball at the Y with all of her friends. Her spirit of competition, combined with her love for the community, made these moments deeply cherished in her heart.
Ruth Ann LeVay was a beautiful soul who enriched our lives in many ways, and the void left by her departure will be hard to fill. However, we take solace in the fact that her legacy of love and care lives on in those whose lives she touched. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the joyful, caring life she led. The world has lost a remarkable woman, but heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
