We're so sorry to hear of Rusty's passing. We are out of town and won't be able to attend. We loved having Rusty and brothers on weekends when they were kids.
Rusty was my best friend growing up along with my other brother Randy P (at the time - later I got blessed to get 2 more brothers, Randy and Robby Hammock). Rusty and I were only a little over 1 year apart and I can't really recall many early memories without Rusty. He was always there for me and me for him. We shared so many things I could never adequately share them. I will miss him dearly
My deepest condolences to all of Rusty's children and family. He is going to be sorely missed. I will never forget our Wii competitions and our long ass dice games. Rusty was King of the dice. Even though I think he learned how to pencil whip us. Lol. I didn't hang out with him as much as I wanted to in the end and I will regret that but I know he knew he was my friend. Rusty was one of my better friends and I will never forget him I will always miss him
Rusty will be missed by so many! Forgot to mention his love for adventure I know alot of back roads because Rusty never took the freeway, straightforward way it was always left turns right turns so you got to see everything you missed on a normal day of driving! I've been to places and had adventures that because I was passenger I don't remember how to get there! And I saw them because of Rusty! His children couldn't have explained him better did have a huge heart and a giving spirit!
