Russell (Russ) Wade King passed away at 54 years old on March 29th, 2023 in Gilbert, AZ. He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Joan Sennett King, two daughters: Kylie King (25) and Nicole King (19), and two four-legged daughters: Lulu (8) and Harlie (2). Russ was born in Cut Bank, Montana on November 21, 1968 to the late Bonnie Weaver and Rodney King. He is preceded in death by his older brother Greg King. His step-father, Donnie Weaver, still resides in Cut Bank, Montana. He graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1987 and moved to Phoenix, Arizona just 3 weeks after high school graduation to begin his studies at DeVry Institute of Technology. After graduating with a degree in computer information systems, Russ was hired by Rockford Fosgate, where he met his beautiful wife, Joan, and many of his life-long friends, including Randy White. Russ and Joan had their first child, Kylie, in early 1998 and their second child, Nicole, in the fall of 2003. Russ loved spending his free time at the softball fields with Kylie, debating politics any chance he got with Nicole, and watching all of the TV shows they love with Joan (even including the Bachelor, which we are sure was his favorite - NOT). He was a man of few words, but his love was loud. To be loved by Russ was to be on the receiving end of one of his searing jokes, receive a caring word or gesture from him, or even to taste the delicious food that he made with ease. Russ was known to bake desserts for Joan to take to work with her at the public school, and was always anxious for the reviews once she arrived home. He is a man that this world, and the people in it that were affected by him, will never forget. As many have said, the world was simply a better place with "sweet Russ" in it.
