I don't know what to say to make things easier, so I have avoided it. I thought that I should at least express to you that your dad meant  a lot to me even if your not sure who I am. We all started out together being cousin's. All our parents being brothers and sisters all living in the same small town in Cut Bank. I am one of Russell's older cousins named Cathy. My mom and Russell's mom, Bonnie were sisters and best friends. So, even though as we grew up and grew apart I always heard about him and how he was doing through our mom's.  We spent a lot of time playing as children and mostly thought of him as Greg's younger brother with the long eyelashes. Lol. Of course, everyone knows our cousin and Russell's big brother Greg died young and it devastated the family. There was such sadness that it always made me happy to hear that he broke out of Cut Bank and got a big life and loving family. Even if it was far shorter than we would want It helps me to know that he was so loved and blessed before he had to go. It's hard losing someone that you started life's journey with. They are part of your team and armor through life. When they are gone you feel unsteady and weak. I can't imagine how hard this is for the King family.  I am truly sorry for your loss from the bottom of my heart. I have memories of catching grasshoppers, playing ball and the like. What a pleasure to work with Russ (Mercury/HP). One post conference lunch he bought me this cookbook from my favorite pasta spot in Vegas. My condolences to the family.

Russell was my neighbor and friend during our early years in Cut Bank.  It's clear that his life was blessed having Joan and children.  I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Russ was a beautiful soul who loved his family dearly. I shall never forget his kindness.  My sincere sympathy to Joan,Kylie and Nicole.
