Russell's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Russell "Gramps" Wade, a beloved father, grandfather, friend, and community member. Russell was born on December 17, 1973, and passed away on May 3, 2026.
Known affectionately to many as Gramps, he was a man of distinctive charm and character. However, he always preferred being called Russell. He was deeply loved and will be missed immensely by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
Russell is survived by his son, Russell Wade II; his daughters, La Dawn and Patricia Wade; his grandchildren, Kemmen, Davey, Stetson, Ganynn, and Wesley Wade; and his dear friend, Ted Fracks. He was predeceased by his father, Garry Wade. Mother Patricia Edrington, & Uncle Sonny Barger.. Russell's family is a testament to his ever-enduring spirit, love, and care.
- Russell was a man of faith and regularly attended the Sweat Lodge, a spiritual place of worship. His devotion and commitment to his beliefs were inspiring to all around him. Aside from his spiritual commitments, Russell was a significant figure within the Hells Angels organization, where he served as a member and later ascended to the position of V.P.
Gramps had a unique and unapologetic taste in life. He savored foods like poontang, pizza, cinnamon rolls, and Bar B Q. He enjoyed a good Pepsi or Crown Royal drink. A keen reader, he particularly loved the book Hussler.
Russell's vibrant spirit was expressed through his passion for music and entertainment. He loved the electrifying tunes of AC/DC, THC, and MOTLEY CRUE. He was an avid viewer of Harley Nation and enjoyed the classic movie, Smokey & The Bandit. A loyal fan of the Vikings, his enthusiasm was contagious during game nights. His favorite performances to watch were Racing events.
Russell was a man of many hobbies. He loved hunting split tail and going for rides with his HA brothers. His preferred forms of exercise reflected his unique sense of humor, as he often quipped that his favorite exercise was 'Doggie Style.' His favorite vacation spot was the Frank Church Wilder Of No Return, and he enjoyed visiting a local Bar. Russell deeply cared about his family and it was the cause closest to his heart. His favorite color was red, symbolizing his vibrant and passionate personality.
Russell "Gramps" Wade lived a life full of purpose, companionship, and care. His presence will be sorely missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in those who loved and cherished him.
