Russell's obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Russell Luke on September 24, 2024 after a short 35 day diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Born on July 3, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, Russell lived a fruitful life filled with love, prosperity, travel, and endless generosity.
Russell is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela Pietrok-Luke, whom he married in 1990. Together, they raised three wonderful children: daughter Amy Cardona, and sons Bryan and Kyle Luke. He also leaves behind a beloved grandson, Zachary Cardona. Russell was a loving husband, a dedicated father, and a doting grandfather.
Known for his selflessness, Russell was always there to lend a helping hand. He was a provider in every sense of the word and was always ready to teach others what he'd learned from his own experiences. His love for travel and water, will forever resonate with those who knew him.
Russell moved to Southern California in 1984, where he established a stalwart reputation within the tradeshow industry. He was respected and admired by his colleagues, becoming a legend in his field. His influence was keenly felt by those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Russell was a man of strong character, whose incredible journey took him from humble beginnings to providing an exponentially better life for his three children.
A celebration of Russell's life will be held on November 3, 2024, at 3:30 pm at The Plaza At Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro, CA. It will be a time to share memories, laughter, and tears as we gather to honor a man who touched so many lives.
