Russell Hammock, a vibrant soul who filled every space he occupied with his outgoing personality, took his final bow on March 19, 2025. Born on November 11, 1982, Russell's journey in this world was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and an all-encompassing devotion to his family.

Russell left behind an inheritance of fond memories and deep-rooted affection for his beloved family. He is survived by his dedicated mother, Gloria Land, and his nurturing stepfather, Wayne Land. Russell was a beacon of love and protection for his sons, Russell  and Lucas Hammock.  

His influence extended to his siblings as well, with his brother Eric Hammock and sister Tonya Ross . His grandmother, Ann Sorrow, and granddaughter Nayeli Hammock were also beneficiaries of his profound love. His essence of warmth and humor touched the lives of all who had the opportunity to know him.

Russell’s greatest accomplishments emanated not from personal accolades but from the joy he derived from his two wonderful children. He constantly instilled in them the importance of loving your family. to demonstrate this principle in action. His legacy was his kindness and his signature comical personality, traits that would continue to live on through his children and grandchildren.

Those who met Russell couldn’t help but be affected by his infectious enthusiasm for life. His sudden departure has left a void that can never be filled. However, his spirit, his teachings, and his love continue to resonate in every heart he touched. Russell Hammock may not be amongst us in person, but his legacy of love, humor, and relentless kindness will ensure that he is missed but never forgotten.
