Love,

The Blaskowskis (Casey, Beth and kids) xoxo

We're deeply saddened to hear of untimely passing of Russell. He was genuinely a very kind, friendly, happy and sincere individual. His contagious smile was truly remarkable! We share your loss and pray that his soul may rest in eternal peace!

I got to spend Fathers Day with Russell, Tyler and Jack this year and we had such a blast! I couldn’t help but take this snapshot and catch this amazing moment! Russell left too soon and will be truly missed by everyone.
David and I (Sandy) met Russell at Jordan's and Lauren's wedding. What a sweetheart. But what really touched my heart is that Russell made a point of staying in touch with us. He sent us a Christmas card for the next 2 years. Taking that moment of time to express appreciation for someone is truly an amazing quality. He will be missed.

Russell was a great friend in my life during our high school and college days. And, then, he found me through a mutual friend 18 months ago right after I had retired and we were in the middle of the Covid outbreak (April, 2020). Because I was quarantining for Covid, I had much time on my hands as a new retiree. Russell was a fresh breath of fresh air every Wednesday morning when he would call promptly at 10 am Dallas time. Every week, we would chat for 3 solid hours about everything we did in high school, current events, to most importantly… everything Westin, Tyler, and Lauren were doing at the time. We were never at a loss for words or laughter.

There was not a Father more proud of his 3 children or his grandson, Jack. And, mercy me, was he ever so excited about Westin and his wife’s new baby on the way. Of course, a Daddy can never wait for their daughter to give them a grandchild. Your Daddy couldn’t wait either, Lauren. So know he’ll always be smiling down when your time comes, Hon! Never doubt how much he loved you.

Russell Anthony was one of the greatest “All American” men I have ever known. God rest his precious soul. I loved him like a brother.

I am praying for all of you at this difficult time. God bless you all!

I am amazed by how much Russell favors our grandfather, Ernest Dewitt Anthony, Sr.  Tyler, Lauren, & Weston - we offer heartfelt sympathy & prayers for comfort.  I remember  playing with Russell as kids & he was always smiling!
