I miss my brother, Russ, every day. He was a loving brother, son & father. He was one of the hardest workers I have ever known, and,
was always there to help a friend in need. Many times he gave someone a job who needed it, even though he really couldn't afford to. Also, would have friends down on their luck come over & have dinner with he & Debbie. Always willing to share whatever he had.
He was great to Debbie, helped her in many ways, including her getting thru college. He was a wonderful brother & helped anytime I needed it. He was always there for Mom & always had a helping hand for his kids & grandkids. He is very loved & missed.

I have the privilege of saying he is my brother in law. We met back in 72 at his party I went to with his brother Gary. From then on I knew what a fun and caring guy he was right then. We also moved up so Gary could work with his brother. So many great times together we had that I will always remember. We lost his brother, my husband in 2015. For those who knew Russ also knew that family was everything to him and he was a hard working man. He will be forever with us in our memories....

When I was about 14, & Russ was 7, we lived in Taylorville, IL, just behind a small store. We couldn't afford coal for our stove, so Russ & I walked along the railroad tracks & picked up coal that fell off the trains. He was always a great worker! I complained..but he never did...
