Rudolph's obituary

On a Afternoon, our family received the unexpected news that our Grandfather was involved in an accident. A man who built a foundation of warmth and empathy, who preferred kindness and gentleness to all else, was accepted into the arms of our lord and savior late on October 19, 2023.


Rudolph Valentino "Rhody" Smith was born in Waterbury, Connecticut before his Family moved to Virginia. In his younger days he attended a strict private school, excelling in every single one of his classes. It was at this school he developed his love for sports and the community and camaraderie that came alongside working with a team to accomplish a goal.

When he was 16, Rudolph took to traveling abroad for work, with main offices located in Hong Kong and Tokyo. He excelled in software sales and connecting with others, a wonder of a salesman. As a result of his talents, his job offered him A good career as a Technician. Which allowed him to travel across the US to do all sorts of Jobs, Rhody was a Kind and Loving Father, Grandfather, Uncle , and Mentor. He will always be missed, We all loved him and now he is resting in peace.
