Rudy Robinson, 67, of Bowie, Maryland, passed away in Frisco, Texas on October 16, 2023. He was surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer. Rudy was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1956 to Rudolph Ivan Robinson, Sr., and Valentina Merline Robinson, and had the heart of a servant from an early age. Rudy dedicated his life to his work as a Nurse Practitioner and was committed to his roles within the Army Reserves, ultimately retiring as a Major after 30 years of service. A quintessential marathoner, Rudy was the embodiment of mental toughness—ultimately soaring to world-class heights in his races and personal pursuits.

Rudy will always be remembered for his grit, self-sufficiency, generosity, and mostly—his punchy sense of humor. We’ll always imagine him referencing one-liners from his favorite court TV shows. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him. Rudy is survived by his brother Tony, and his sisters Gina, and Mitch. A virtual memorial service will be held privately with close family members and friends present.
