Ruby Mae Mincey July 26,1937 – June 13, 2018 Resident of West Palm Beach After a courageous 7year battle with cancer, Ruby passed away peacefully at her home in West Palm Beach. Ruby was born and raised in West Palm Beach and graduated from Forrest Hill High School. She held a teaching credential and was a 4th grade teacher at WinneBrook Elementary.

She was one of four children born to the late John and Debbie Smitten and was the beloved wife of Eddie Mincey for over 30 years. Ruby will forever be remembered by her devoted brothers Timothy, Richard, and John, loving sisters Carole Cairenes and Kristal Lawrence, beloved children Daniel Mincey, Christina Reeder and Melanie Brandon, treasured grandchildren Shequita Mincey and Morgan Madison, Carol Ann, Brady and Billy Reed, caring in-laws Ingrid Mallmain, Kip Hanna, Catherina Jackson, Michele Reed, Chadwick Reed and Marilyn Broderick, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
Ruby Mae loved listening to classical music, playing the piano, laughing, being with her family, having fun with friends and teaching elementary school children.

Ruby touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018, at 10am at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, 11555 Shamrock Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33402.
