Papoo was like no other! I have always been impressed with his devotion to Rory and his love for Thom and his grandsons. My heart is full knowing that we had years with him living so close to us. The memories he built with the boys leave a wonderful legacy.  We miss his genuine and heartfelt laugh and his great hugs. He loved with his whole heart! We need more genuine men like that in the world. We miss him so very much!

I have may stories to share about my Brudder but what made me laugh the most is that he was so good at teasing others BUT when it came time for him to be teased.....  I would sometime tease him on the phone and his response always was "Click"  He would just simply hang up!!    Or when Rory would do something that he couldn't believe,  he got this goofy look on his face and would say in his loud voice "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU ROSEMARY"!!!  My Brudder was a super unique person with a heart of gold and always filled with love.  I love you Brudder

We have been close friends for over 50 years. Therefore, he was a "Brudder" which is what I call him. He was always there if I ever needed advise or simply needed to talk.  You are missed and loved and forever in my heart! 

Seems I provided a gazillion blooper instances for Roy to immediately call Thom thru the years saying, 'Do ya wanna hear what she has done THIS time?!'.  It got to where I just handed him his phone to report in.  😍  When he said, 'You're just a wacko magnet!', my response was, 'What does that make YOU??!'  

My loss is indescribable.  I know God and Jesus are holding us as tightly as They are holding my love.  Roy continually gives me signs that he is still here with me, and I find so very much comfort in that.  Watching sunsets thru our trees that reach the sky shall always be 'our time' to talk.  I was blessed to spend over half a century with this love of my life here, and our story's not over.  We shall have eternity . . .
