hmm can't find an update button

One week ago two officers came to give me the notice of Roy's fatal accident. I was given a note with the whereabouts of the Kitty, the phone for the coroner and the state patrol advocate.
I have been diligently tracking down Roy information. I haven't found it all and I haven't done all that needs to be done. We humans live like there is no end but there is and those left behind have a huge hard job to clean up after us.
I am hoping to find something written in Roy's hand stating a beneficiary. I've had Roy and several others state his wishes but I don't believe that will be accepted in court. either way there will be probate and lawyer fees. And NO it's not me. I am just physically closer to where Roy's stuff is.
The officer at the scene found a 3 year old insurance stub. I believed there was no car insurance.
There were such bad snow conditions the coroner wasn't able to do the autopsy for several days. I got a call from her this morning. multiple broken ribs, punctured spleen and lungs.
I got a call from the officer Thursday with car release and insurance information. and got that called in. No idea on that yet.
I got a call from the Tow/impound company. If I don't get Roy's stuff out of the car before the insurance company takes it that will be lost but I can't have that stuff till the fees are paid. and its still snowing. so we will see.
The humane society were very kind. The "Fatty Kitty" has been cremated and is in the mail.
The Mortuary have been kind as well. Did you know they cremate you with your cloths and shoes on!? Like the old westerns "bury me in my boots." I did tell her that seemed odd just throw them away. I'm sure they will do whatever is their custom. Roy's cremains should arrive here by Friday.
I will keep Roy and Kitty until it is warmer and it is for sure decided what is to be done with them. There have been a few ideas besides planting them.
I think this is all of the update I have for now. God Bless You all
Roy collected so many life stories both good and bad but he said "I Love Life"

I have such fond memories of Roy Dean. So tragic. Praying for comfort for his loved ones.
Sister Rae Winkler/Roy is my big Brother
All my life I watched him and the cool things he did.
I learned how to fix things by watching him tinker.
I learned Not to try to climb up a rope trying to copy him. LOL
He was an Amazing Man!
I remember him creating a radio station when we were kids that Actually transmitted on the Radio.
I think he was about 12 when he did that.
He used a crystal radio set that he built himself, a record player, a microphone and a LOT of wire he strung up the huge tree in our back yard.
He would sing KKLSV 1450! Lets Play this song.
I thought we were just playing.
Turned out he was overriding other stations! LOL
The FCC tracked his signal and almost arrested Daddy for it!
It took some explaining that it was Roy NOT Daddy doing it! LOL
They took away Roys Crystal Radio and told him to remove the wire from the tree.
I will miss my big Brother
