We regretfully announce the passing of Roy "Shorty" Parra, preferred to be known as Roy, who was born on November 24, 1987, and passed away on March 1, 2025. Known as Shorty to his friends and family, his love for life, creativity, and his unique sense of humor will be deeply missed.

In his lifetime, Roy's vibrant personality was best described as funny, goofy, talented, creative, cool, and always busy. An artist of many mediums, some of Roy's greatest accomplishments lay in his music and tattoos. The legacy he leaves behind is deeply ingrained in each tattoo he created and song he composed. His music and tattoos were not just his passion but his expressions of joy, love, and creativity.

Roy's family was his heart and his pride. He is survived by his daughters, Sabrina Parra and Savannah Parra, his step-son, Nathan Rogers, his grandchildren, Zeke Jr. and Klair Parra, his brother Gary Parra(his kids), his sister Crystal Parra(her kids), and his mother Gloria Parra. He was predeceased by his wife, Jamie Parra.

His favorite foods included all kinds, showing his love for diverse cuisines. He was a huge fan of the Cowboys and was often found cheering them on with infectious enthusiasm. The lessons Roy shared on respect, love, and kindness are values that will continue to guide his loved once.

Roy welcomed two children into the world on May 27, 1998, and September 15, 2013, becoming a grandfather on August 19, 2018, and May 21, 2020. These moments were among the proudest and happiest in his life.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of support and love during this difficult time. Roy taught us that life should be filled with love, respect, and continuous learning. We will remember his lively spirit, his love for his family, and his dedication to his art. We know he has found his eternal home and will forever live in our hearts and his music.
