Roy's obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Father Roy Blair, who left this world peacefully on August 15, 2014. Born in the year 1938, Father Blair devoted his life serving the community with unconditional love, tremendous dedication, and unwavering faith.

Father Blair was a beacon of light and hope for those who knew him. He touched countless lives with his wisdom, kindness, and compassion. Throughout his life, he steadfastly carried the responsibilities of a beloved priest, a caring friend, a guiding mentor, and above all, a loving father.

He is survived by his daughter, Janet Blair Besson, who has inherited her father's spirit of service and compassion. Their bond serves as a testament to Father Blair's dedication to his family, even amidst his commitments to the wider community.

Father Blair's life was characterised by a relentless pursuit of truth, belief in the power of love, and firm faith in God. His teachings and memories continue to inspire and comfort those who were fortunate to have been a part of his journey.

While we mourn his physical absence, we celebrate a life lived in service, love, and faith. Father Blair's legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched and in the positive impact he had on his community. May his soul rest in peace knowing that his life's work made a substantial and lasting difference in the world.
