I just heard that Roy had passed last month.  My condolences and prayers for the family.

I knew Roy as a ham radio operator in his later years. He had expressed an interest in helping out if we were needed for any local emergencies. Luckily, the opportunity never was realized for him because he had volunteered to help with communications at any Red Cross Shelter that might have to open up in the area.
