Roxanne's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Roxanne who left us on October 5th, 2021
She fell asleep in the arms of our Lord and peacefully passed away.
Roxanne was born on September 23, 1963 in Southbridge Massachusetts. When she was 6 years old the family relocated to Southern California, where she later graduated from David Starr Jordon High School in Long Beach.
She leaves behind her beloved son Cameron Prince Delouth. Roxanne also leaves her sisters, Rebecca Prince, Roberta Prince Vilandre, and Regina Prince Foley. Brothers, Bob Prince and Nicholas Prince. Nieces and nephews, Nicole Clark Garrison, Matthew Vilandre, Selena Marquez, Shannon Erickson, Brandon Emmons, Brianna Reyes, Luke Vilandre, Brandon Prince, Tianna Prince, and Robert Prince.
Roxanne was a devoted mother and her Son Cameron was her life! They were best friends and confidants. She truly loved people and was always there to offer help in any situation or to give you one of her healing hugs. Roxanne worked at Canyon Lake Country Club for many years. She would often pet sit for friends who lived on the Lake and being there was her serenity. For the past year, Roxanne worked with her dearest friend, Jeffrey Platt & Jitters, delivering his homemade meals to shut in senior citizens. She recently started her own pet sitting business, Roving-Roxy, where she found happiness and purpose. Roxanne was a magnet for people in need, they gravitated to her! Her light always shined brightly and everyone felt safe and comforted with her. It was unthinkable for her to pass a complete stranger without a smile and a pleasant greeting. Her empathy was unmatched!
Roxy was preceded by her father Robert G. Prince and her mother Roberta Giovinazzi Prince.
Rox will be forever loved and never, ever forgotten.
Her "Celebration of Life" will be held on Sunday October 24th, at Southwest Church, 44175 Washington St. Indian Wells CA. at 2:00 PM
