Rowena and I met back in 1998 at Startec. I remember watching Leah grow up through pictures and shared stories. Row was an amazing colleague, mother and friend! She made the BEST lumpia in town! Rowena, you will be missed!

I was so sorry to hear about Rowena's passing. She was an amazing woman who had a special way of making everyone feel seen. I'll never forget how she went out of her way to organize a get-together for me when I was pregnant with my son. Since I didn't have many friends or family in Denver, her kindness meant the world to me. She will be so deeply missed, and I know that her absence will be felt by many.

Leah and family... I can't tell you how special Rowena was to Jaycel and me. She had such an outsized impact on our lives and she will be missed so very much. We loved her like she was family and we love all of you! We're both so grateful we had the chance to meet and get to know all of you a little bit last night. Rowena will be in our hearts forever and so will all of you.

I’ve had the honor of knowing Ro for over 20 years, and my heart is truly broken. Rowena was the kind of friend you never let go of and never take for granted. I was so lucky to call her my friend, and even luckier that she welcomed me into her life.
When she moved to Colorado, the distance didn’t change a thing. If anything, it brought us closer. We would talk every week for hours, usually laughing the entire time.
Ro loved all those in her life, everyone she cared about: family, friends, and coworkers. She spoke about her daughter, Leah, with so much love and pride.
She had a heart that gave without hesitation. She loved to laugh, she was humble and her generosity endless.
Rowena touched so many lives just by being herself. If you knew her, you were blessed. I know I was.

Leah and Family, my heart is broken. Rowena was a special woman. Her kindness, joy and hugs will be forever missed. Leah you don’t know me, but I know you. Your mom loved you fiercely and was so very proud of you. We talked about you every time we saw each other.
I remember her asking Steve if our boys could come help her out moving some stuff around her house. He said of course but there is no need to pay them. Rowena told Steve to shut up and she could do what she wanted 🤣. She was so good to my boys!
Rowena, you will be missed. Your laughter and hugs were the best. Rest well my sweet friend….. until we meet again!

Smiles, laughs, endless food - if you knew Rowena, you know she always made your heart full. From working together in Herndon, to moving to Colorado and working with her here, her love and kindness spread far.

Rowena was one of those special types of folks you only get to meet a few times in your lifetime. She brought humor, warmth, and knowledge to everyone around her. Of course goes without saying the best comfort food you could ask for. I was lucky enough to visit with her for two misfit Thanksgivings when I couldn't make it back to my own family, and hopefully was able to express to her how much it meant to me just to have somewhere to go and spend time with others for the holiday. I spoke with her on a near weekly basis at work and was thankful for her help on so many issues and just the kind conversations aside from work. Just a beautiful person through and through. You were loved by so many, Rowena. I know I won't forget the impact you had on me. Rest easy, my dear friend.

I was heartbroken to hear of Rowena's passing. She truly was an amazing woman and the office will never be the same without her there. There will forever be a missing piece on our team. She used to randomly check on me and I'll miss her saying "Have a good night honey" on my way out of the office as well as her always making me Adobo Chicken since I was unable to have her Lumpia. I'm so sorry for your loss and it truly is a loss to so many people she touched.

Leah and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot begin to express how truly devastated we all are. Thank you for sharing your mom with us. I want you to know that she was loved by so many.
The voice department at Charter is made up of wonderful people from all over the US and the world. Many people moved to Colorado away from their family and friends. Rowena especially singled them out but made sure the no one spent a holiday alone, that birthdays were never forgotten, that we had home cooked food. If she could help make someone else’s life better, she did. She reached out when people experienced a personal life, or had surgery, or they were ill, to see what she could do to help, and to let you know that she was thinking about you.
Rowena gave the best hugs; she was a source of comfort, security and belonging. She was our family. You know when a person feels like home? That was Rowena for us.
She will be profoundly missed.

When I walked by Rowena’s desk, she would always ask “why don’t you smile anymore” and tell me to smile. Little things like that can put you in a better mood.
She was a very hard worker and will be missed. My condolences.
