Ross's obituary
Ross Arthur Lewis, born June 16, 1958, passed away on March 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
Ross is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Ashley Lewis (wife Sylvia), and Melissa Bohnsack (husband Jasper) and grandchildren. He held his family close to his heart, and his presence will be deeply missed in their lives and in the lives of all who knew him.
Ross spent much of his life working as a Dodge mechanic, a career that reflected both his skillful hands and his strong work ethic. He took great pride in what he did.
Known for his sense of humor, Ross had a way of making people laugh and had a smile that lit up a room. He often joked that he wasn’t made for the Canadian cold, despite being born here and only spending a few childhood years in South Africa.
Even long after his mechanic days were behind him, Ross never lost his opinions about vehicles. He would jokingly voice his displeasure at being driven around in “Farts” his nickname for any Ford vehicle, staying true to himself in the most endearing way.
Ross will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the warmth he brought into every space he entered. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family.
A celebration of Ross’s life will be held at a later date.
