Rosie's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Rosie Rehkember, born July 14, 1930. Rosie left us on September 29, 2024. A loving woman, full of charm and a wonderful sense of humor, Rosie was nothing short of an embodiment of pure kindness.

Rosie married her soulmate, Nate Rehkember, in 1949. Together they forged a life full of love and laughter. Their union blessed them with four amazing daughters and two wonderful sons: Abigail Shelton, Joise Raymond, Amanda Rehkember, and Sarah Rehkember, Nathan Rehkember and Nicholas Rehkenber. Each of her children inherited Rosie's warmth and have carried it forward into the world, a testament to their mother's legacy.

Her greatest accomplishment, as she would always say, was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a champion of love and family values, always putting family above everything else. Her lessons were simple yet profound: "Hold each other in kindness". It was this principle that guided her throughout her life and made her the remarkable woman she was.

Rosie had a great affinity for Mirimar Beach, FL. A favorite vacation spot for her family, it was a place where she felt serene and at peace.

Rosie lived her life in Christ and her faith was an anchor in her life. She was a beacon of hope and strength to her family and those around her. Her kindness, charm, and love remain as an ever-lasting legacy, carried on through her children and the generations that follow.

Rosie Rehkember will be deeply missed by her family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Let our memories of her live on, let her laughter echo in our minds, and let her virtues guide us. In this time of sorrow, we find solace in the knowledge that her spirit lives on in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
