Marie was a high spirited, no nonsense woman. To have been told she will never speak as a baby she was known to never hold back on anything she had to say. Yet she was as genuine as they come. She craved excellence and demanded order. Marie lived by the quote, "cleanliness is the closest to godliness."
With dreams of working in the sky scrapers of New York City, it is no wonder she became a citizen of the world. Traveling the entire country with her daughter. She was not afraid of an adventure and was the life any party.
Marie had a lot to be proud of, multiple college graduates and five successful children who all adored her. She loved music, watching Biopics (The Tempations was her favorite) and cooking for her family, all while spending as much time as she can with her grandchildren. She loved to celebrate and cherish her family, people was her source of joy.
Rosie Marie McCullum King will be truly missed but never forgotten.
She will always be our girl.
