Rosendo's obituary
Rosendo “Junior” Otero, of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Puerto Rico, entered into the presence of the Lord on December 26, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on January 27, 1954, Junior lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service to his family and community.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Nelly Otero, and his children: Angel R. Otero, Iris N. (Angelo) Otero, Angel L. (Belicia) Otero, Kare Ann (Samuel) Cruzado, Emmanuel (Daniely) Otero, Bethzaida Otero, Maria (Eddie) Ortiz, Johanna (Ralphy) Vargas, and Ernesto Rivera. He was also a cherished grandfather to many grandchildren who brought him immense joy.
Junior was a man of unwavering faith who found great purpose in serving the Lord and sharing His love with others. His dedication to his family was evident in every aspect of his life as he worked tirelessly to provide for them and nurture their spiritual growth. Known for his passion for working on cars and spending quality time with loved ones, Junior’s life was a testament to humility and devotion. Whether offering his time or talents to those in need or simply enjoying fellowship with friends and family, he embodied the spirit of selfless service.
A visitation will be held at House of Praise International Church at 4321 Elyria Avenue in Lorain, Ohio, on Saturday, December 28. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Gilbert Silva. Together with family and friends, we will honor Junior’s life and celebrate the hope we have in Christ.
May Rosendo “Junior” Otero’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him as we take solace in knowing he is now at peace in the arms of the Lord. His legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
