Rosemary and I started our friendship in seventh grade. She was warm, kind, caring, thoughtful, and funny. Rosemary had the gift of making me feel special and she nurtured our friendship through the decades.
Rosemary was also blessed with an amazing collection of talents. As I was looking through our high school senior class yearbook I was reminded of what a super star she was. One full page was dedicated to Rosemary for receiving the highest award the school bestowed - for excellence in everything. Listen to what the article about her mentioned. Rosemary demonstrated high academic achievements and good citizenship. Rosemary held leadership roles in five of the many clubs she belonged to. She performed in a select singing group and was the captain of the drill team. She was voted Homecoming Princess, Best Dressed, and Most Likely to Succeed.
None of those accolades referenced Rosemary’s love of her family. To know Rosemary was to know her family. They came as a unit and Rosemary openly showed her love for them –even as an adolescent. All of our conversations over the past decades were about family–her love for each generation of her family shining through.

I did not know Rosemary real well, but saw her on occasion when she would visit Pevco, where I worked with her husband Ron. I do remember going to see their beautiful new home they had built in Orange, CA. My deepest sympathy to Ron and Paul (PA) and their families, know that she will be missed, but hopefully family and friends have a lot of good memories to carry them through. God Bless.

Rosemary has been one of my very best friends in life. We began our friendship in junior high school and remained close for over 60 years! I always looked up to her as she was a model of beauty, grace and intelligence. I was saddened when they moved away from Orange County to Reno but we never missed sending Christmas and birthday cards to each other and actually worked in a few visits. In the last few years we had made a pact to talk to each other at least once a month. I grieve for the loss of my sweet friend and also pray God's love and comfort for Ron, her children and the rest of her family. Till we meet again, dear Ropes.

Our sincere condolences to Ron, and their children, and to Teri and Paul Volpp. We met sweet Rosemary and the rest of the Volpp family through the Reno/Sparks Newcomer's organization. Our dear mothers, Jean and Rosemary, became fast friends and we enjoyed getting together for tea parties, luncheons, and tours. These lovely women were such an important part of my life and will be forever missed. Rosemary's passing has been especially difficult to comprehend - I still cannot get used to it. We've been praying for each of you, to be comforted and strengthened by the Lord.
Sending you our love ~

Our Dear Sweet Rosemary Lynn. She was Beautiful inside and out.
Even though she was my sister's sister in law, I always thought of her as my sister in law and special friend.
I saw her as a quiet giver. Not drawing attention to herself as she gave love and support to others.
Hosting baby and bridal showers as well as being so loving and supportive of me in the difficult times of my life.
Only recently, she invited me to stay in her beautiful guest room when there was an overflow in the Volpp household.
I also think about her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor that made her fun to be around .
She is missed very much and I so look forward to her resurrection here on Earth in the near future. John 5:28+29
My heart goes out to Ron and all of her children and grandchildren. ❤❤❤
As well Paul and Teri ❤❤❤

I have never known a gentler soul than Rosemary. My life is richer for having known her, and I know it is the same for her friends and all the kids who were lucky enough to have her as their teacher. 💕

I have so many wonderful memories from the time we were little girls playing with our Barbie dolls and having fun in our play houses. Growing up and being in each others weddings and having our sons one hour apart on the same day. In Reno, the four of us enjoying dinners and holidays together. Fun trips to the wine areas and our Alaskan cruise. You were always there when I needed you and you will always be "My Best Friend Forever." Love, Linda

John & I are sad to hear of Rosemary’s passing. Bernice Wakefield notified us today. Ron, we pray for God’s comfort and strength for you and the entire family. Rosemary was a lovely, warm-hearted, friendly and funny gal. I cherished her friendship. Just sorry we didn’t connect more in recent years. We had a lot of fun times together before your move to Reno. Rosemary has left her mark in this world for the good things she did. We will miss her. Sending our love to you and the family.
