I met Rosemary one morning as I help her to get to her seat in the chapel at the YMCA. She was trying to use her cane and carry a cup of coffee at the same time. I have a mother that is about 8 years older than Rosemary. I was volunteering at the Y for about a month and I was missing helping my mom, only for a few seconds. Care giving is a very hard job. Rosemary and I struck up a conversation and we didn't quit. I would call her from time to time and we would just have the loveliest conversations about the Y and about our travels. Rosemary would inquire as to where I was going next and where I'd been. Usually she had already been to all of those places. She was quite the traveler herself. She would praise me and encourage me and I love her to death.
Tara, Pat and Family -- I am so very saddened to hear of Rosemary's passing. She was a remarkable woman who gave me reasons to smile many times. I will always appreciate our accidental meeting, her cards and letters, and the connection back to the two of you. What a legacy she leaves from a life well-lived. I wish I had the right words, but I hope you'll find peace and comfort as you work through this difficult time.
Tamara and Tara, Pamalah and I just made a contribution to the YMCA of the Rockies in memory of your mother, who was one of our Windcliff neighbors. Since I don't have your addresses, I could not ask the Y to advise you of our memorial gift.
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I always remember her with such a passion for life. She had such a bubbly personality. Tammy and Tara our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Margie Bernard Fogle
