Top: Rosemary Richards, Bill …
Evanston, WY, USA
Top: Rosemary Richards, Bill Waters; Bottom: Bill Waters, Linda Petersen
Rosemary was a cousin of mine.   She was the same age as my brother, Bill, and a bit younger than other cousins, Bruce and Linda Petersen.    Rosemary's mom, Mary, wrote tidbits for the Uinta County  of what was happening in Evanston.  Those stories often told of my mom and dad (John and Louise Waters) or my Grandparents (Cliff and Mary Varney) motoring to Salt Lake City to visit someone or other or celebrating a birthday or whatever.   I have a binder with several pages of these short blurbs she wrote.   I think Mary Richards and Mary Varney talked on the phone to each other daily, so anything we did ended up in the paper.     If I remember right, Rosemary's wedding reception may have been at our home in Evanston.     It is sad that we lost contact with each other after high school graduation.    I remember her and her brother, Tom well.

We were fortunate to have known Rosemary and Bill here in Virginia for a number of years and came to love them. She was a delightful spark and her memory will be with us forever.

While at The Hamptons, Rosemary and Bill made dinner time a pleasure full of jokes, laughter and insightful discussions.   My mother's dinner table still has an empty seat and our memories will be treasured.  My deepest and most sincere condolences to the Cable family.

My sincere condolences. Becky, I am sending you love, light, and hugs from NM. My heart breaks for you, but my hope is for the memories that make you smile the broadest are what help you through this transition. Lots of love, Kelle

The loss of Rosie here on earth is heaven's gain -- what a beautiful, tenderhearted woman!  Would like to share a favorite passage with the family:

Isaiah 43:1b-3a  "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior."

Such great memories of this wonderful woman -- our deepest sympathy to the family. You are all in our prayers.

Kris, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.   May your memories bring you comfort and peace.

With my deepest sympathy xo

LA Martin

Rosemary - your daughters are both beautiful souls and a strong reflection of their loving mother. You will be missed and much loved. My condolences to Kristen, Rebecca and the rest of the family.
