Rosee's obituary

Rosalee Washington was called home on April 15, 2021. She fought a good fight against cancer. She was the youngest of five girls. Rosie ( as we called her ) leaves to cherish her beautiful memories Louise Washington (mother) James Washington (father) who preceded her in death, Bernard Washington ( son ) Betty Washington ( sister), Wuanita Riggins ( sister), Judy Washington (sister), Brenda Robinson ( sister) who preceded her in death, a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, a special friend Leon Dawkins.

Rosie was born in DC General Hospital on November 19, 1967 to James and Louise Washington. She went to school in Washington D.C., and graduated from Spigarn High School in 1985. She went on to work in the hotel industry for most of her life. In 2016 Rosie was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been battling it until the Lord called her home.
