Rose "Wink" Strader, widely known for her kindness and caring personality, passed away on August 12, 2025. Born on May 9, 1955, Rose, also affectionately known as Wink, left a remarkable imprint in the hearts of all who knew her.

One of the defining characteristics of Rose was her deep love for animals, a passion that was evident to all who knew her. Her compassion extended to the care and love she poured into her relationships, creating lasting bonds cherished by those left to remember her.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, James Long, and her parents, Eston and Pauline Ours, whose memories she held very dear to her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness in the form of her survivors: her partner, Eugene Butler Jr., her daughter, Melissa Riley, her sons, David Riley and Roger Long, along with her step-son, James Long and numerous siblings and grandchildren.

Rose's kind and caring nature, along with her love for animals, has been a beacon of warmth in the lives of her loved ones. Her enduring spirit will continue to inspire and live within the hearts of all who knew her. In the wake of her passing, we come together to celebrate a life well-lived and a personality that will be deeply missed.
