Rose McCue, 85, of Westlake, OH passed away peacefully on December 03, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Rose grew up in Cleveland, OH with three sisters. She attended Our Lady of Angels Elementary School, St. Augustine High School and Notre Dame College in Cleveland. The family treasures her hand painted wooden crafts made with husband Jim.  She brought beauty into the world through stained glass, gardening and painting. She devoted time to family through scrapbooking, playing Scrabble with children and grandchildren and spending time outside. Loving mother to eight children who all raised families and stayed in the Cleveland area. Rose will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Rose was predeceased by her mother Marie Louise Slagel; father,  Roland Marquard; step mother, Eleanor Marquard; and daughter, Mary Lou (Michael) Taylor. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 66 years, James G. McCue; daughters, Diane Smith, Patricia (Michael) Sokolowski, Kathleen Brookhart and Susan (Chris) Lopez, and sons James, Brian (Kim) and Michael (Pam) McCue; and sisters Mary Ann Triber, Elizabeth Finch and Barbara (Scott) Praefke. She leaves behind 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A private celebration of life will be held in her honor.
