Background
Celebrating the Life of Rose "Mary" Smith
Hi everyone, my name is Patricia. It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of my wonderful mother, Rose Smith, known affectionately by many as “Mary.”
At 63 years young, my mom was taken from us far too soon. She passed away peacefully in her home, leaving a void that can never be filled. As her only child, navigating this loss has been the most difficult challenge of my life, and I am reaching out for support as I try to give her the farewell she deserves.
A Life Full of Dance and Laughter
If you knew my mom, you knew she was the absolute life of every gathering. She didn’t just enter a room; she brightened it. She lived to:
• Dance and sing like no one was watching.
• Make people laugh with her incredible sense of humor.
• Be silly and remind everyone not to take life too seriously.
She was a spark of joy to everyone who met her, and I want her final services to reflect that same beauty and warmth.
Why I Am Asking for Help
Being an only child, the emotional and financial responsibility of managing her services has fallen entirely on my shoulders. Between the funeral costs and the sudden logistical challenges of her passing, it is a lot to handle alone.
I am asking for donations to help cover:
1. Funeral and memorial service expenses.
2. Final arrangements and transport.
3. Support for the transition during this mourning period.
How You Can Help
Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to me (Patricia R. Smith) to ensure my mom is laid to rest with the dignity and love she gave to all of us.
If you aren’t able to donate, please consider sharing this link and leaving a favorite memory of "Mary" below.
Hearing stories of her dancing, singing, and making you laugh means the world to me right now.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, your prayers, and for helping me honor the most important woman in my life.
With love and gratitude,
