“In the End, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years”
On August 19, 2023, Rose Marie Cramblet, 77, of Antioch, passed away at home after battling Breast Cancer the past couple of years. Rose was the oldest of eight children to the late Esteban Ortiz and Antonia Garcia out of El Paso, Texas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her baby girl Rebecca Benner, brother, Juan Ortiz, and sister, Felecia Ortiz.
Rose is survived by her children: Ronald Benner, Rachel Beesley, and Edwin Cramblet IV. Grandchildren: Amanda Benner, Jacob Benner, Edwin Cramblet V. and Sage Cramblet. Fur baby: Little Dude. Siblings: Francine Diaz, Esteban Ortiz, Bennetta Ortiz, Margarita Ortiz, Soledad Moran, and their families.
Rose was diligent in her studies of education and childhood development while her children were growing up and became an education professional at Holy Rosary School as the Director of Serendipity. She was a hard-working and amicable woman who captivated her students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through the 8th Grade. She also started the Summer Day Care Program out of her home for the working families who needed child care when their children were on summer vacation.
Rose was an altruistic and nurturing mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed.
