Rose Ann (Margaret) Broederdorf, 95, of Marengo, IL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 3rd, 2020, at the Florence Nursing Home in Marengo. She was born on February 23rd, 1925, to Rose Ann Gallagher (Walter W. Priegnitz). She married Edward A. Broederdorf, on July 9th, 1944, in Algonquin, IL.

Surviving are 8 of her 10 children. Edith Broederdorf, Fargo, N.D., Les Broederdorf, Crystal Lake, IL, Jim (Karen) Broederdorf, Mountain Home, AR, John (Donna) Broederdorf, Crystal Lake, IL, Roger (Lidia) Broederdorf, Boynton Beach, FL, Ruthie (Charles) Love, Corpus Christi, TX, Ken (Anne) Broederdorf, McHenry, IL and Karen (George) Miller, Johnsburg, IL.

She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband, Ed, her son, Ed, Jr., her daughter, Linda Coss, and her parents, Rose and Walter Priegnitz.

Rose also leaves behind a Legacy of Love … she has 42 Grandchildren, 50 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was a life long resident of the Crystal Lake area.

Rose was a member of the National Grange, the Harvard Moose Lodge and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

She loved to collect Birthday Angels and Precious Moments Figurines.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with internment at the McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock, IL.
