Rosamond had shared throughout her life that she did not desire a wake or funeral but instead an inspirational gathering for those she loved to join in positive memories. If you were lucky enough to know Rosamond, you know that she would not want to “make a fuss” but instead maintain that Pollyanna attitude people so love about her. We hope to honor her wish and eternal optimistic spirit at our Celebration of Life.
The Celebration of Life is an open invitation for Rosamond’s many cherished communities to come together for a light lunch and libations as we share in one of Rosamond’s favorite pastimes, story telling!
Rosamond’s family looks forward to greeting you and hearing favorite memories of a life well lived. Because Rosamond was loved by so many, we ask that once guests have celebrated and shared their love of Rosamond they leave with a happy heart, allowing for others to join in the celebration.
Given the open and welcoming flow of the Celebration there will not be a formal itinerary. As Rosamond would say, “keep it simple.”
We look forward to visiting with you and being comforted by the outpouring of love and admiration for our beloved mother.
